Saturday evening I went out for a run with my friend Lauren, I wanted some guidance as I just wasn't improving. Before now I would run for about 30 seconds, walk for 30 seconds and repeat. I just wasn't getting my pace right and becoming out of breath really easily.
So when we set out Saturday evening we set off at a slow pace and I managed to get to about 1.5km before have a 30 second walk, drinking some water and running again. I only stopped one other time after that to have another quick drink and we ended up running for about 3.3km. This is a massive improvement for me and I know it isn't a lot for some people but it is something I am really proud of and I never thought I could do it.
Another reason for the post is I would like some advice as this is all still new to me. Even though I warmed up and stretched before and after I woke up the next day with very stiff and sore legs especially at the top of my inner thigh. This morning that has eased up and my calf's are really sore and I am walking around like a robot I am so stiff. So if you have any advice on stretches that would be great, I know my body isn't used to this kind of exercise so I am going to hurt but anything that will help ease that would be great.
I have some fab products from Aromatherapy Associates that have helped but I plan to do a separate post on that.
I hope you are enjoying a bit more variation on the blog at the moment, I have my first Outfit post scheduled for tomorrow and I have some beauty posts lined up too.
Some have you have also asked me to blog about my healthy eating and how I have lost the weight but this is something I need to sit down and really plan as there is so much to talk about with it, I just don't know where to start. I will eventually do some posts on it though, promise!
